I just a sketch this portraits in charcoal.  It is a quick sketch for a new work.  This is one of those faces that just inspires me.  It was drawn with quick lines.

I just sketched a detail for a still life painting I'm going to be working on.  The detail is an arrangement on top of my piano.  I sketched this in acrylic, but it will be painted in oil.  For now it is a surreal setting with the arrangement floating on a lake, but that may change. The piece is not going to be merely a sill life, but an allegorical piece.  I'm planning on painting it on a long rectagular canvas, large scale.

I just recently stumbled upon this really interesting widget for displaying pictures. It is very simple to use. Just upload the photos and copy the HTML. You can upload it anywhere including Myspace, Tagged, and any other website or blog builder that supports flash. You can also change the way it rotates, whether it being vertically, horizontally, or both at the same time. Here, it is set on both x and y coordinates. Recently I have getting back into figure studies, since I 've been neglecting it for a while.   I am planning on drawing more charcoal series.

This was an imaginary portrait of a surreal face.  I tried to make it realistic by trying to express a very human realistic emotion.  I did this piece many years ago.  It was drawn in mechanical pencil.
